Chinese Learning Express Module 8

In Module 8, students will learn how to make, accept, or reject invitations to activities or events based on
their availability. This module includes an activity in which students will practise making suggestions for plans and practise accepting or declining those suggestions based on different scenarios. Students will also practise asking about availability in order to coordinate an activity with the class. For cultural reference, this module includes a description about making appointments in China. This module’s assignment and assessment worksheets outline grammar points, and develop the core language skill-set: students will improve their listening skills by hearing dialogues about making plans, will enhance their speaking skills through making arrangements with friends, and will read and write about making invitations and being able to accept or decline invitations.
